Recent Meals. What are the Japanese eating?②

Uncategorized

In Japan, October is the season for athletic meets.
Last Saturday was the field day at my oldest son’s elementary school, and this Saturday was the field day at my youngest son’s preschool.

Before the Corona Disaster, it was a full-day field day with lunch in between, but nowadays it is more common to finish only in the morning. Frankly speaking, it is difficult to watch the games for a whole day, so only the morning is fine.

Now, here’s a recent meal.
(1) Sushiro

Have you heard of Sushiro? It is a chain restaurant of conveyor-belt sushi. It is inexpensive (from 100 yen) but tasty, so I sometimes go there.
On this day, I went alone for lunch and the bill was 1,200 yen.

(2) Pasta

I often eat pasta these days. Recently, pasta with a boiling time of 2 minutes is available, but the noodles are still quite thin, so I prefer pasta with a boiling time of 5 minutes. When I make pasta, I make two or three kinds.

Recently, the morning and evening temperatures in Tokyo have been getting colder. I want to be careful not to catch a cold.
